In January, Governor Gavin Newsom gave his first State of the State speech and one of the most appalling statistics stuck out: nearly 1 million people in California lack access to safe, clean, and affordable drinking water.

What's more, roughly 300 California public water systems serving communities and schools are currently out of compliance with drinking water standards.

This is a crisis, and we can take action today to fix it. Water is a human right.
